. . . and that's the beauty within the friendship of these five ladies.

Barbarah Reynolds, Jennifer Suarez, Nikki Kemp, Lexus Potts, and Alexis Gauthier each come from such different upbringings and have such diverse passions, so it's so unique to see this specific combination of ladies crossing paths.

What's truly amazing is that they each encourage each other to be uniquely themselves.

Enjoy this mini lookbook of outfit details from their Wynwood Walls experience.

Jenny

Jenny wears a light-weight high-low cotton dress from Forever 21 with a tan Fedora hat.

BarbarahJenny's hat is so versatile, that Barbarah snagged it for her outfit as well!

Barbarah's World Changer shirt was custom made at a T-Shirt Press station at Trinity Church's 2015 Girflriend's Conference.

The principle behind this picture: You don't have to be SEEN to be a world changer.

  Alexis

Alexis has the same World Changer tee that Barbarah does, except the foiling on her design is actually a BOLD GOLD color.

"I wanted to keep the bold theme by adding my $7 leather pants from Plato's Closet."

Lexus &Nikki

Lexus and Nikki have such separate but put-together styles! Lexus' black and white combo is classy, while Nikki's bright colors are boho!

Lexus Necklace

Lexus' oversized striped top is a great canvas for a blue jeweled statement necklace. Similar accessories can be found at Walmart.

Jumping for Joy

Jenny and Alexis are actually college roommates, and they choose to challenge each other in JOY.

This photo captures the very idea of Luke 6:23 "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven."

Must Have Closet Item: The Shirtdress

IMG_7680-web.jpg

Every girl has a t-shirt & jean kind of day (whether we'd like to admit it or not). But having days that freshen up your look and don't require much effort, are not as far fetched as they seem.

The solution to an effortless yet chic look: the Shirtdress. And boy are we all smiles over this "easy going" apparel choice.

Chunky accessories such as this coral necklace are just as effortless as  shirtdresses AND complete the outfit.

DIY Chevron Knuckle Ring

Aimage1EDITED.jpg

Knuckle rings are a trend that I am absolutely LOVING right now! I have been seeing them all over Etsy and Pinterest. Recently, I was just about to pull the trigger on ordering some, when the thought crossed my mind, “why don’t you just make them yourself!” So…off to Michaels I went! Today, I am going to show you how simple it is to make these fun chevron knuckle rings. The supplies: 1. Wire cutters 2. Thin wire (16 or 18 gauge wire seems to work well)

Aimage2EDITED

Start by cutting off about 2-3 inches of wire.

Aimage3EDITED

Take the wire and bend it into a point. You can start off using your fingers to shape the wire into a chevron pattern.

Aimage4EDITED

You can also use the end of your wire cutters to help reinforce the shape.

Next place the wire on your finger at the height that you want it.

Wrap the wire around your finger and twist together.

You can use the end of your wire cutters to help mold them together. Be careful with the edges of the wire, they can be sharp. You can sand them down a bit with a nail filer to take off the sharp edges.

And you are finished!
