Kristin Coker

Kristin Coker, a Lakeland native, is a versatile individual whose journey encompasses sports, academics, and a commitment to giving back. She excelled in volleyball, basketball, and cross country during her time at Lakeland High School, where she first met Sarah as a fellow volleyball player.

Kristin pursued her passion for volleyball and her academic interests at the University of West Georgia, majoring in Chemistry while playing as a setter for four years. Later, she earned her Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida, currently serving as an ICU clinical pharmacist at Lakeland Regional Health.

Her athletic journey took a turn post-pharmacy school, leading to participation in triathlons, half Ironman distance races, a three-person relay Double Anvil race, and full Ironman races. She proudly represents the Hulbert Homes Team.

Kristin's achievements include competing in the IM 70.3 World Championships in 2021 and 2022 and participating in the 2023 Tampa Bay Frogman swim.

Outside of her athletic pursuits, she shares her life with Fletcher, an 11-year-old Airedale terrier. Active in Trinity Presbyterian Church and Somos Church, Kristin enjoys hiking, traveling, and building friendships. Her love for nature and dedication to causes like Top Buttons drive her to use her talents for the greater good, exemplified by her recent participation in the Frogman Swim, supporting families of fallen Navy Seals.
